I bought 20 of these for my warehouse but they are not communicating. Is there a download I am supposed to do?

We bought 30 of these radios to be able to sound an alarm during a fire emergency. So far, we can not get the alarm to sound. What is the secret handshake to do this? The book says to use channel 11, turn it off, hold down transmit and moni and turn on; well, that doesn't send an alarm. We have tried with function set to incept alarm on and off. Please help.

When I set my unit to channel 1, all i hear is a high pitched continous tone. But only on channel 1. All other stations are clear. Is there a way to fix this?. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

I recently bought a third H777. I checked when I first got it and it seemed to work fine but it has quit transmitting on any channel. How do I return it for replacement? Thank you.

Can not get H 777 software to install on system. windows 10

The specification shows the ouput power as <5W. Can you please tell me the actual power output in High Power and also in Low Power modes? Thank you

Hello, we are using few H777 here in Canada and some concerns were raised by one of the licensed amateur. Please clarify "These radios are using frequencies above 460 mhz UHF band which is in the GMRS and FRS bands in Canada. They are the Retevis H-777 which are rated for 5 watts power or PEP. They also have detachable antennas. Industry Canada which governs amateur radio restricts radios used in these frequencies to 2 watts on GMRS Channels and ½ watt on FRS channels which are programmed into these handhelds see Image 1 They do not possess a sticker either on the radio itself or an appropriate E-Certificate issued by Industry Canada certifying them for use In Canada. See note attached. Please note I have no issues with them being used, however I am a licensed amateur and do not wish to chance losing it by using a radio not Sanctioned in this country." Your prompt reply is highly appreciated. Thanks, Karthik

Hi All, Thanks for the response, but I don't think we're on the same page / understanding each other correctly. Yes - The RT1 has longer range / distance..... but unfortunately the RT1 does not solve the problem (which is a common problem and needs to be explained on your site). Question Rephrased: The Problem : There is something obstructing communication between two points (Hill / Mountain / Could be anything). Solution = Repeaters???: I want to place 2 x repeaters at highest point on hill to relay the message from one side of hill to the other side (This is why repeaters were developed right?). Questions: A) Does your repeater work with the H-777 Radios?. B) Repeater Power Source: Does it have it's own build in battery? (i.e. can I link repeater to a solar panel on top of hill to charge battery during day.... the battery will last overnight?).... or do I need to have my own separate battery?. C) How does the repeater relay the message? i.e. I'm on channel 1

I have several radios from another manufacturer (Vertex Standard VX-261). Would I be able to program a set of H-777 to work with these units?

can i send data from my pc via USB interface to an other H777 ?
