4  I just purchased 20 H-777 radios, to add to the already 30 I have. Of the 20 new ones, only three would open into programming mode. I have 17 little bricks that I can't program. I'm using the cable you provided, along with the same computer and software that I used on the other 30 H-777 radios. I'm using the same programming steps as the other 30, yet only 3 of the new ones would receive the new program flash. Do I need to return these? I need another 50 next year, so I'm hoping there is a simple solution.
Hello Chuck Marsalisi, Please download H777 usb driver and H777 software from Retevis official website: http://www.retevis.com/resources-center/ Attached a pic for you reference, then try to program in H777 software
5  Hello, got a set of 10 Retivis H77 radios for our company. For some reason, one of the radios seems to have lost the channel sequence. When the radio is turned on, the channel knob starts on channels 10,15,3,13,5,6,16,9,10,2,7,9,1,15,16 , How can this be set to original factory specs?
This is the switch on the curcuit board broken . Please find your seller to ask your warranty .
6  How do I program my new H-777 walkie talkie and is it necessary to do so? The squelch volume is too loud when interference is taking place. How do I adjust the volume?
You need to connect your radio to PC by cable , How to program it on software please read the guide here : http://blog.retevis.com/retevis-radio-frequency-programming/ . Then when you open the software , you will see just like the picture below -- There you could find the squelch levels , that's the function you need to set .And please note --
1. The higher the number is , and the stronger the ability of noise suppression is . But meanwhile it has less probability to receive the weak signal.
2. Conversely, The smaller the number is , the weaker the ability of noise suppression is , But meanwhile it is more easily to receive the weak signal.
3. A "0" level indicates that there is no squelch suppression function, which is the lowest level.
7  I bought ten radios and put 4 into use right away. They worked great. Then all four died on the same morning. It was very odd. I thought it was the battery. I put 4 other ones into use. They worked great. Then yesterday 2 failed. They will not turn on. They were charged but I think they were charged in the on position. Does this make them defective? I tried charging them again, but I cannot get the 6 that failed to turn on.
Could you tell me your order number. I will cc and contacted after-sale service, they will check and reply to you a.s.a.p., thanks for your patient waiting...
8  need any license to use this h777 model in India?
Anyway people that from India bought H777 before . And they don't feedback anything bad to us .
9  if I set the channels 1-8 to the frequency for PMR channels and don't set any CTCSS/DCS will they transmit and receive on all the CTCSS/DCS frequencies on the selected channel or do I have to put them into search mode to find the frequency another radio is operating on IE My radio is on channel 8 (no CTCSS/DCS) and my collegue is on Channel 8-1 CTCSS/DCS will they work together or doI have todo something to 'find' him hope that makes sense Many thanks
If you don't set CTCSS/DCS and your collegue set it (Under the same frequencies ) , the you could receive your collegue 's signal , but you can not transmit the signal to him . Just set same CTCSS/DCS and same frequencies could work with each other .
