Retevis RT97S GMRS repeater can greatly extend the RB17P GMRS handheld radio's communication distance, which can supply up to 10 miles of talking range (the specific call distance depends on the usage environment). This is a perfect long range radio communication solution for farms, construction sites, racing, concerts, schools, churches, rescue, buildings, road trips, etc.

Main Features of RT97S GMRS Repeater:

1. Easy-to-Use GMRS Repeater Bundle

Featuring 8 GMRS repeater channels, a 10W transmitter with a full 5W output power after the duplexer, and a built-in notch duplexer, all you need to do is add an antenna and feeder cable to get on the air. A USB programming cable is also included to program the repeater to your channel and CTCSS/DCS tones of choice.

2. Small and Portable Repeater

Retevis RT97S repeater size is only 260 x 210 x 70mm. It is very small and compact, convenient to carry, and very useful for outdoor use and for families, individuals, and groups. You can also install it on the top of the mountain to build your own base station.

3. Multiple Charging Options

RT97S can be powered by DC12V~24V power, car power, or a solar battery. The RT97S is ideal for solar-powered repeater sites where low power and a small footprint are required. At such a small portable size, this repeater is perfect for camping trips or emergency preparedness.

4. Easy-to-Read LCD Display

Retevis RT97S repeater comes with an LCD display. The display can help you know the TX and RX frequencies, CTCSS/DCS code, and bandwidth settings easily. There are also up and down keys, which can help you change channels and CTCSS/DCS tones. You can also use the key to lock/unlock the keypad.
