ergrossstarsAmazing product! Our farm is filling with hillsReviewed in United States on Oct 20,2018Amazing product! Our farm is filling with hills, woods, outbuildings, etc. This little radio works perfectly. The radio is small and light--perfect for our kids! Even wearing a pair of shorts, this radio is carried everywhere by everyone. I initially bought two--it was a random purchase. I then figured out I needed a couple more and went to Walmart and bought two other brands. They were a couple of bucks cheaper, but what pieces of junk. I just ordered two more of the Retevis RT22's. Might as well stick with what works.Bill LeamingExcellent Value!Reviewed in United States on Oct 20,2018My company produces wedding films and we use two-way radios at almost every wedding event we shoot. We've been using Motorola radios exclusively for the past several years, and they're great for what they do. But we've been looking for a simpler and lighter/smaller radio as the heavier Motorolas get tiresome by the end of a 12-hour workday. As for range, we are generally within a half-mile range of one another at a wedding shoot, and these radios have worked great for such a distance. We tested them while driving (two separate cars) on the way to a shoot, and we were easily able to get a full mile (flat highway) of transmission distance. Obviously, your distance will vary based on obstacles and other radio interference in the area, but these radios met our needs easily.Flyboy6257onPretty good so farReviewed in United States on Oct 18,2018Very nice radios so far. I use them at an airport and so far the range is pretty good and they are very clear. Ordered another pair of them for my co-workers. Love the fact they're slim and lightweight. I just wish they came with the dock instead of just the wire to connect them.GoldfishonRadio itself works good most of the time, but attachments are flimsy. No replacements avail.Reviewed in United States on Oct 18,2018Use on a 14-acre property and works ok most of the time. Battery life is good. We use them lightly and re-charge them every other day over night. On one of the radios, the protective rubber shield that covers the opening for the charger fell off somewhere in the yard the second day we had the radio. The dirt gets in there, as a result. On another radio, the snap on belt clip broke yesterday. Looked online to see if I can get a replacement clip and didn't see any. So when the rest of them break (because they are made out of plastic and will sooner or later snap), we will be left with radios without belt clips. Unless you tie them to your body you will end up losing them sooner or later. I think they should last longer than 1 month, or have replacement parts readily available.Cheryl B. DuttweileronWork Great!Reviewed in United States on Oct 18,2018These two way radios worked perfect for me and my husband. It allowed us to stop yelling from room to room and actually be able to hear what the other said! I would order again if needed!EChisolmBuy these.Reviewed in United States on Oct 17,2018Best thing I have bought in a while, excellent service and great product. Compact, light, clear, and easy to use, my family ditched the cell phones for around the neighborhood and for my younger kids and in the house for everyone. Beats yelling across 4000sqft. F For everyone to come to dinner!Damon P.Worked great for use at a Gala. Super small compared to other bulky ones!Reviewed in United States on Oct 17,2018I purchased the 10-pack RT22 radios for use at a Gala that was being held in a very large museum. I love how small these radios are, and how easy they are for anyone to use. I've used several types of radios over the years, and these are by-far my preferred ones, strictly because of their size and low-weight. As far as their range of communication, they held up really well compared to the previous, more expensive, brands that I have used too. However, my use would probably be considered short-distance. Definitely under 1 mile at all times. Prior to the evening of the Gala, I tested the range of each radio in my neighborhood, in a 7-story building, and at the museum. Here are the results from each (fyi: all of these tests were using headsets connected to the radios): Neighborhood test - I had my wife stay in the house and I walked several blocks away. I could hear her very clear, even when turning corners, putting multiple houses in-between us. I would say I walked about a quarter to half a mile away. The only time the signal broke up was when I walked down a hill, and the ground obstructed what would be considered a direct line-of-sight to the house, which also included multiple houses in-between. The signal got very fuzzy, and then cut out altogether for about 500 ft until I reached the incline back up the hill.L. SeamanGreat valueReviewed in United States on Oct 17,2018I was skeptical based on the price. I planned on using them for a theatrical performance to stay in contact with backstage managers and then later to use them to play paintball. They have been a great purchase. They are small and compact, and very durable. The battery life is outstanding. We've used them for 8 hours a day for 9 night before the battery low warning came on.
