Answer 2: The range of RB17P GMRS radio is up to 2 miles. If you want to extend their range, you can buy a portable repeater like RT97 and RT97S repeaters. RT97 or RT97S portable repeater can be easily installed. It is recommended to be installed at a higher location and equipped with a high-gain antenna.
