Retevis RT97S GMRS Repeater and RB17P GMRS Handheld Radio Bundle

The Retevis RT97S GMRS repeater extends the RB17P GMRS handheld radio's communication distance, supplying up to 10 miles of talking range where terrain allows (the specific call distance depends on the usage environment). It is a long range radio communication solution for farms, construction sites, racing, concerts, schools, churches, rescue, buildings, and road trips.

Main Features of RT97S GMRS Repeater:

1. Easy-to-Use GMRS Repeater Bundle

Featuring 8 GMRS repeater channels, a 10W transmitter with a full 5W output after the duplexer, and a built-in notch duplexer, the RT97S only needs an antenna and feeder cable to get on the air. A USB programming cable is included, so you can program your channel and CTCSS/DCS tones of choice.

2. Small and Portable Repeater

The Retevis RT97S repeater measures just 260 x 210 x 70mm. It is compact and convenient to carry, useful for outdoor use by families, individuals, and groups, and it can be installed on a hilltop to build your own base station.

3. Multiple Charging Options

The RT97S can be powered by DC 12-24V, car power, or a solar battery. It suits solar-powered repeater sites where low power draw and a small footprint are required, and the portable size works well for camping trips or emergency preparedness.

4. Easy-to-Read LCD Display

The Retevis RT97S repeater comes with an LCD that shows the TX and RX frequencies, CTCSS/DCS codes, and bandwidth settings at a glance. Up and down keys change channels and CTCSS/DCS tones, and a key locks or unlocks the keypad.

Main Features of RB17P GMRS Handheld Radio:

1. Repeater Capability

The RB17P GMRS two way radio has 8 repeater channels, which connect directly to the Retevis RT97S GMRS repeater for stronger, longer-distance signals. This pairing increases communication range and reliability across the coverage area.

2. Long Battery Life

Equipped with a 2200mAh large-capacity battery, the RB17P supports 24 hours of work without frequent charging, and its long standby time covers daily shifts.

3. NOAA Weather Alerts

The dual-watch function lets you monitor NOAA while communicating with your partner. The radio scans and locks the strongest weather channel, keeping you posted on severe weather updates.

4. Colorful Display and Multiple Background Colors

The Retevis RB17P GMRS walkie talkie has a 1.7-inch TFT color screen for checking radio information at a glance, and it offers 8 background colors so you can pick the readable option for different lighting.

5. One-Key Alarm Function Button

The Retevis RB17P has an orange alarm button on top of the radio. Press it to send an alarm, which triggers both local and remote alerts across the group so teammates can respond quickly.

6. Excellent Audio Quality

With high-quality speaker components, the RB17P 2 way radios sound loud without being harsh. The radios also feature 0-9 squelch levels that filter out incoming signals below a set strength, and users can adjust the squelch level to match their needs.

Orders from retevis.com include fast free shipping, a 30-day money-back guarantee, lifetime free firmware and resource downloads, and lifetime technical and customer support.
