Was excited about this radio and it's features. Having own several dozen of radios that priced in the budget/entry level. This radio feels solid like that of my Motorola APX-8000. There's some weight to the radio and the texture on the plastic, the way it's molded. I think Revetis hit this one out of the ball park on the overall construction.

This two-way radio feels solid and well-built. It's great that it's waterproof, making it a good choice for outdoor adventures.

I own several Retevis radios for emergency purposes. This model is by far my favorite. It will run quite a long time on one charge. The transmit and receive on this radio are also really good. Build quality is great especially for a radio at this price point.

I have several friends and acquaintances with this radio, and I was impressed, so I picked one up.

The battery stays charged for a long time. The performance is pretty decent I think the rain could be a little bit longer but it's not bad for the price.

The battery life is great, and the flashlight came in handy.

The range on these is really good. Tested at about a mile clear. Maybe it about 10 city blocks through walls.

About 3 mile range in our wooded property without the use of a repeater. I would recommend.

I have extensive experience with Retevis brand radios. They are one of the better budget radios for personal and commercial use for the money. In fact I have several of their model and they don't disappoint in and always perform just like the commercial brands.

I usually pass these "review radios" along to churches or ham groups, etc. However, these were so good that I set them aside and gave them to close family members who spend a lot of time camping and trail riding. They are perfect for these activities given the solid audio, good range and GPS functions. A good radio.

This is a solidly built, feature packed radio that performs very well. I won't do a blow by blow narrative on the features because they all work as described by the manufacturer.

These are like high end walkie talkies. They are well made out of quality materials. These are not toys. I would expect to find them on a construction site, or in the service of an outdoor event.

compared to other walkie-talkies tested before, the audio is very clean and the signal is detected over long distances, it is better when there is less interference from buildings.
