The RT47V is perfect for the United States because very few individuals operate on these frequencies which makes it practically a private channel. The RT47V is one of the Cheapest MURS radio available on the market. The ip67 rating allows you to not have to worry about operat in ng in wer or dusty environments.

These walkies work really well even in large distance gaps. I've used this to easily keep in touch with works at project sites and it stands its group. Depending how you set it up, can definitely intertwine and work well with other walkies, so everyone keeps in touch.

These radios have a very long range. Sound quality is sharp. A battery life test shows these radios slightly better than comparable units. Overall a great radio!

Bought for my grandchildren they are boy's 3 �?4. Little to old for them. But we show them to just press the gray bottom only that works. Would do for older kids. 8 or over.

These radios work well. I use them for communication with the kids when they are out playing across street in school yard. It certainly eliminates the need for taking the time to hunt them up.

Work great! We tested them about 3 mile distance so far and they did well.

We could use these anywhere - in the neighborhood, hiking, camping, while driving in a caravan, at Disney World, etc. They are powerful. The batteries run out quickly during use, but these are very durable and can be used for most applications that you can think of.

Worked great for our cross country road trip. I was in my car and my bf in the truck towing his car. Helped us keep in touch and make quick decisions if needed, like if there were lots of choices for exits. Also safer then texting or calling!

I was truly surprised by the range and clarity of these walkie talkies. My son tested them and got much further away than the listed range before the sound quality was diminished.
