HELP ME DOWNLOAD A PRO ON MY RADIO RT29 UHF
Really good sound and quality. Good range with the long antennas as well. Went up to 10km

My company has been using these walkies for about a month in our 30,000 square foot showroom. They work well, but we recently decided we wanted our employees to start carrying a few, as opposed to having them set up around the store. That's when I realized the screws on the back needed a special (T9) screwdriver to be removed, and if you don't have one, you can't attach the belt clips. Of course, I re-checked all 6 boxes, and nothing ... So now, we have to buy a specialty screw driver.
The radio is very good, with a high power of 10W, so the call distance is very long, although it does not reach the 10W call distance, but compared to other walkie-talkie distances, I think the description of this walkie-talkie is still ok, so I Recommend retevis RT29 BULK
Amazing radios for the price. Use them in a pretty hard and over 400 acres with great success. The only issue is the screws they give you to install the belt clips. DO NOT use the screws they provide as they are two short and will start to strip and fall off (Repeat do not use the screws they provide in the box) By new screws that are 3/56x5/16 and they grip as they should without stripping of falling out after clipping on and off your belt. Like I said amazing radios and will purchase them again knowing I will use my own belt clip screws. Cost me only $9 to use the right screws..
I'm a novice at the rules and regs for radio power vs. licensure requirements. This would have been a 5-Star review, had the company been more forthcoming in its description of these radios....and had they hired someone more fluent in English and web design for their Amazon store site. comparing units was quite difficult and it took several communications to clarify things. All that said, These units kicked a very reliable, strong, and easy to hear signal 1.25 miles over a slight hill and through our small residential village (2000+ pop) in cloudy weather. Unfortunately, we discovered that we needed an FCC Ham License to be legal with them, due to their over 2-watt output.

These radios are of good quality, loud and very clear, and easy to program, however some radios don't always program on the first try. Our boarding team uses these combo intercoms and they are great and best of all, they don't get wet in the rain, making them great for outdoor use.
I wanted to see if these Retevis work any better than my Uniden FRS radios that requires a FCC license on 2/3 of it's channels. I tested it in a rural area with lots of trees and lots of rolling hills up to 800 feet tall. I like the Retrevis better. It's quite a bit larger than the typical FRS radios. More sturdy to the feel, and has much better battery life. Rated for 10 days standby/limited use is about 10 days more than the Unidens. Range is a bit better as well. From inside my house, I'm able to get good signal into a metal out building 600 yards away with both radios. Maximum transmission from inside the house to inside my vehicles, through the hills, etc is about 1- 1.5 miles depending on how much I am behind a hill. I'm certain if both radios are outside the house, I'd comfortably get 1.5 miles. On flat land, 2-3 miles is probably reasonable expectation. With the Uniden, I get about 1 mile until the sound is jumbled. On the Retevis, sound quality is much better at any distance. Voices come through crystal clear. I suspect this is due to the quench setting on the Retevis, where as the Uniden does not have a quelch function. The Retevis is simpler to use and is set up correctly right out of the box. I bought the programing cable, but have not really found a need to reprogram anything yet.
We use them on a production set and they hold up to the Range, durability, and battery life are all great. ey for the Motorola earpieces (you'll need the adaptor, too). - You need to buy the programming cable separately to link and update any additional units. One of ours calls out the channels in Chinese.
we had a good time, because my family take the radios to go capimng, long range, great sound, 10W high powr, like it
