Great Farm Radios
I bought 4 of Retevis RA87 for the trucks and combines. They are very easy to install although the stick on mic holders did not hold. In flat to rolling hills we had no problem reaching out 10 miles with good quality. The elevator is 7 miles away in the bottom of a ravine and I could always reach the truck driver. The speaker is not loud enough at times if there is any background noise. I’m very happy with these radios and will buy again.

Awesome radio great customer service
I get this Radio a couple of weeks ago so have had time to play with it. It does have a bit of a learning curve because it has DMR but reading the manual and watching a few videos I’m now able to program it and use it as intended. The radio is well built great audio and I get good reports from my transmissions.

Very Good Walkie Set
We use this product to communicate at my assisted living. It's a great product with longer than expected range. My only complaint is they don't really hold up to high volume use. Would be 5 stars if they where just a little more durable, but its a great value for bulk walkies if you don't mind replacing a few a year.

Best Walkie Talkie on the Market
I could reach 2 miles in suburb clearly & 3 miles with some static. Thats way better than other radios that I have purchased (7 brands that claim 35miles +). Also durable & waterproof. Wife dropped in the lake and it survived with no issues. Love the long battery life. The antenna is long but worth it with the talking distance and clarity.

Nice Dual Band DMR Radio
The HD2 is a very good dual band, dual time slot DMR Radio that performs well in both analog and digital modes. the radio seems ruggedly built and well made for the price. The screen is bright, clear, and easy to read. Volume is strong too.

Nice coverage for outdoors communications!
We bought a few of these to handle field operations in a Farm. The farm is for crops and pretty open with a few tree wind barriers and a couple of 100 ft tall hills. The radios work nicely!! the farthest point we have communicated are about 2.5 miles and no problems as long as you are outdoors.

So far so good
Got these radios for my construction crew, we are at times in different locations within a mile or two. So far they work great. We are working in downtown area and even with buildings all around us we can still hear each other, there is static at times but most of the time it’s clear sound. Battery life is excellent, we work 10-12 hr shifts and radios have lasted throughout. 👍🏼 I am going to be getting the longer antennas for longer range soon.

Very clear voice
Used the these on our first off road adventure with the 4x4 club. Very happy with them the battery lasted all day and all the communication were very clear.

works well for us
I have both the UHF and VHF versions of this radio and they are fantastic. Dead simple and do exactly what you would need an inexperienced operator to do. They are tough radios and have battery life for days. Program them up with some simplex frequencies or your local repeaters and go to town.

Great emergency communication Repeater
This repeater works out of the box. Power and hopefully a good antenna and location. Altitude of your antenna is essential. You are only getting about 5 watts out of the transmitter and duplexer. But no complaints. You get this unit high enough and you can attain really decent coverage. It would have been nice if they put a station identifier into the unit but it's really for quick and ready communications. Worth a buy. I hear a new version coming out soon...

Great little repeater
For what it is, this is a great little unit. I haven't done extensive testing on it like some others on here, but it works as intended. I live in the Bay area surrounded by hills and trees and I'm still able to communicate with family members 7 miles away using Radioddity DB20s with both houses surrounded by trees.Disclaimer: As with all things GMRS, line of sight it key so your experience may vary.
