HA1G handheld radio comes with GMRS frequencies and GMRS repeater functions, so it is a GMRS radio. It is transmitted on the GMRS band, but HA1G can receive it on the UHF and VHF bands. You may listen to different VHF frequencies or UHF frequencies freely. A full keypad makes it easy to program. The default NOAA Channel for the HA1G is 162.550MHz. If your NOAA Channel 1 does not display this frequency, you can directly import the factory code and write it into the HA1G.

The HA1G has 8 GMRS repeater channels pre-set at the factory. However, if you need to set more than 8 channels, you can program them yourself. The HA1G can be programmed with up to 256 channels.
