I and my company have purchased several of these. Most have failed. The PPT switch or the mic audio have failed without having been in adverse conditions or been abused. I had one that deservedly failed because the radio suffered an impact and the connector broke. Just this last week, I had one working perfectly fine but the PTT function became intermittent. Move the biscuit around as you hold the button and it would then transmit. Another had intermittent mic audio, I opened the mic connector to find that a solder joint had broken inside. Poor construction quality.
