CTCSS/DCS Codes
GMRS radio features standard and non-standard CTCSS/DCS codes, which makes it convenient to communicate. Setting the CTCSS/DCS codes for each channel will effectively block unwanted signals/conversations.

If you like GMRS, this is a good radio. This radio is very similar to the Motorola radios. IP67 rating, thick body, long life battery, nice screen, etc. Also, being able to listen to frequencies other than GMRS as well as weather radio and FM radio is nice. The ability to program repeaters is also a must.
