I love these Retevis radios. They always work great and are reasonably heavy duty. I use them around my property. I can get roughly .5 miles away behind 2 hills and still talk to a handheld at my house. That is great for hills being between us.

This set of walkie talkies are built with good top quality you can feel it and the way it functions. The display works good easy read and control.The sound and mic quality is good and clear good for big events or off roading with friends. Range distance is amazing it does have a detachable antenna. Battery has good life and easy to charge I like that it has the option to charge with usb c and not only the cradle dock. The add on mic/speaker is easy to use and also feels like really good quality feels durable super happy with these radios.

This is a solidly built, feature packed radio that performs very well. I won't do a blow by blow narrative on the features because they all work as described by the manufacturer. On the bench the radio met or exceeded all published specifications. I usually pass these "review radios" along to churches or ham groups, etc. However, these were so good that I set them aside and gave them to close family members who spend a lot of time camping and trail riding. They are perfect for these activities given the solid audio, good range and GPS functions. A good radio.

I liked these rugged 2-way GMRS radios. Charge in the enclosed dock or plug directly in the USB-C ports on the back of the batteries. Sound was clear and I tested range out to about 3 miles in a urban setting. Range would be much greater as obstacles decreased. 30 clear channels/frequencies, group calling, noise reduction are among the many features these radios have. The radio is solid in your hand and feels like a more expensive radio. I liked the frequency adjustment knob versus inputting frequencies with a keypad. The NOAA weather band is a great feature especially after the past hurricanes in my area and the weather alert feature came in handy too. During the storms I put the radios to use by handing out to neighbors when we lost power and cell service was interrupted. We were able to stay in touch until utility servjce was restored. Excellent radios.

These units are sturdy, relatively lightweight compared to older radios, They have lots of channels, 2 ways to communicate either with an attached microphone that installs easily and works great, or just the normal push of button on the side of the unit.

The radio is solidly built and comes with a string and belt clip. It seems sturdy and works well. The radio is already a great tool for people who need to work at a job site or work in a group and have the ability to contact one another.

This radio is a decent option for close range, I like that each one comes with optional belt clip and a charging station, also it can be charged using a regular type c cable which is very convenient. The battery life is great and lasts more than I expected and for close range this is a pretty decent quality set, although the price does seem a bit high

If you're used to DMR it should be effortless. If you're a rookie like me, be patient and give it a couple of days. Remember that you have to assign your talkgroups. It's a lot easier through the software.I'm very happy with the purchase.
