I'm moving this to 4 stars as Retevis contacted me and we got the programming cable issue worked out. You will need the new cable even if you have tons of Retevis programming cables as I do. The others will not work. The radio itself works fine, TX and RX well and has no issues with working simplex or duplex. The sound is nice and clear and the build is rugged. It would be nice if you could by additional batteries, clips and charges on Amazon so that keeps me from putting this radio into use in our manufacturing operations.
