The RT81 radio is great for the construction site. able to program with other radios on site. It can handle daily use and abuse. simple to operate. I would suggest a less complicated explanation to program radios to connect with the same models. I did a lot of research and was unable to easily program. Reached out to the individual that did the original program for contractors' radios. A simple to the point program site would be great. Also took a bit of searching to locate the model program guide. Highly recommend radio for daily use.

It's no Motorola but for the price it gets the job done just fine. I usually get about 3 miles of clear transmission with heavy interference from buildings or trees with just the base antennas.
