Works great once you figure out the programing. It took me 2 days to figure it out.
Learning curve but well worth it! DMR works great with a hotspot or local DMR repeater. The analog side is fantastic too! My check in’s are clear with full quieting!
Nice radio, easy to use and program, 20 watts is plenty, and able to use the cigarette lighter for power. More bells and whistles than I need for a great price!
This is a small radio, and 20 watts output. It is also a DMR radio, and if you don't have experience with DMR radios I wouldn't recommend this radio as your entrance into the field. You're going to need to get into the CPS and reprogram the buttons to be more useful and set up your codeplug. After that it's GREAT! Works really well and as expected. It draws nowhere near the current as other mobile radios and actually works great with power stations! This is a great option for go-boxes or for a vehicle that you don't want to overwhelm the interior with radio devices. I have many plans for this radio and I'm glad I chose it!
A great little radio. Smaller than what i am used to. Easy to install with decent instructions. I really like the clarity and the fact it takes up little room.
