Retevis RT97S Customizable Frequency Portable Repeater with FRP Antenna Bundle
Expand your communication range and keep constant and instant communication with Retevis RT97S two way radio repeaters. The bundle also comprised a suite of essential accessories to ensure seamless communication. An Omni-Directional Antenna (144/430MHz) extended the signal range, while a 15-Meter Coaxial Extender Cable provided greater flexibility in antenna placement. A Magnet Mount Base Antenna allowed for quick and easy installation on vehicles, and dedicated Power Supply Cords and Programming Cables completed the setup.
Main Features of RT97S Portable Repeater:
1. Customizable Frequency Repeater
TX frequency and RX frequency can be customized between UHF (400-470MHZ) or VHF(136-174MHZ). If you need to customize the repeater, please note the following information when placing the order: RX frequency, TX frequency, Offset (Offset ≥5MHz and ≤12MHz) and Charger type. When programming, the TX and RX frequencies should be within ±200 kHz of the custom frequency point.
2. Extend The Distance
RT97S base station is specially designed for long communication range requirements. When the repeater is set up in the right location, the RT97S can help a handheld radio greatly extend its range by several miles. The distance is greatly affected by surrounding obstacles and antenna height. When in an open area and the antenna is set up high enough, the distance will be longer.
3. Upgraded 3M Feeder Cable, Less Power Loss
This set includes an upgraded 3M feeder cable. The repeater and antenna are installed in close proximity, minimizing feeder loss and maximizing transmission power.
4. Small and Portable Repeater
Retevis RT97S repeater size is only 260 x 210 x 70mm. It is very small and compact, convenient to carry, and very useful for outdoor use and for families, individuals, and groups. You can also install it on the top of the mountain to build your own base station.
5. Multiple Charging Options
RT97S can be powered by DC12V~24V power, car power, or a solar battery. The RT97S is ideal for solar-powered repeater sites where low power and a small footprint are required. At such a portable size, this repeater is perfect for camping trips or emergency preparedness.
6. Easy-to-Read LCD Display
Retevis RT97S repeater comes with an LCD display. The display can help you easily understand the TX and RX frequencies, CTCSS/DCS code, and bandwidth settings. There are also up and down keys, which can help you change channels and CTCSS/DCS tones. You can also use the key to lock/unlock the keypad.
7. Sturdy and Durable
The shell is made of an all-aluminum alloy, which is resistant to falling and has a good heat dissipation effect. It has little loss in daily use and supports long-term use.
