Purchased another walkie talkie (name brand) and the range was horrible for my neighborhood. Purchased these and they work fantastic. Range in my neighborhood is about .5 miles (I live in a densely populated city). Lots of features which can be overwhelming but overall very pleased with these walkie talkies.

Better than anything you'll find at your regular retailer and for a *much* cheaper price to boot. I've had two of these over the past few years to use at work with both walmart and target. Battery life is great, pairs nicely with various other walkie systems provided you have the frequencies and dcs/ctcss codes and having easily replaceable components is an absolute must have. I have mine set up with a stub antenna and two 3800 mAh batteries, each one will last me over a week before I have to charge them. They've taken every drop like a champ and aside from some wear on the buttons after over a year of use, there's almost no visible damage on my unit itself. Customer support at Retevis is absolutely amazing too, I remember emailing them a few years ago looking for a replacement belt clip for another one of their walkies and they responded within 5 minutes.. at 3AM my time! Treated me like I was the best customer I ever had. Can't recommend their products enough.

Quality of these walkie-talkies is much better than the cheaper ones you can get at Walmart. These are clear and crisp and you don't sound like a perverted maniac when trying to talk into one of these. Love them. Would order again.
