I bought these to use at Disney World and they worked GREAT! As long as you're in the same park you're good to go. Fantastic range and battery life. Just charge em up and leave them on all day and you're set. We did rope drop till close and still had over 80% battery left on the longest days.
Ordered these because of their mini size. Wanted something small and compact for light use when hiking and camping. Sound is loud and clean. VOX option works when it wants to. Very lightweight and can be recharged via cable or charging dock (not included). Overall, nice basic radios to keep around and bring where there will be no cell service.
These radios are very basic but the seem to get the job done. The form factor is great, as they are really small and thin and could easily be carried in a pocket or small bag. The actual coms seem to work well - tested a few channels at short distance. My use case is all within about 1 mile or less, and these seemed to work in my test cases. The usage of the radios is very straight forward. They charge quickly (again, in my testing) and seem to last at least 10+ hours. All in all these are basic but useful, and I really like the form factor. These are going to come in pretty handy.
I bought a set of these walkie-talkies for my boys to use and to take on hikes. These work really well in close proximity. They are clear and responsive. I recently tested the distance by driving in my car while my wife was at home. According to my testing these can be used within 1/2 mile with very clear audio and within 1 mile with a pretty clear line of sight with some static and sometimes a broken signal. For simple walkie-talkies that is pretty good. I would recommend for close proximity communication.
These walkie talkies are great for camping, hiking, etc. I like how clear they sound, they're really easy to use and are important in an emergency. Great set!
We loved using our four sets of walkie talkies to keep up between four families on our National Park trip, where there was limited cell service!
