affordable dual band DMR radio
Currently my company was paying $1500 for Motorola radios and these replaced them. We use digital, analog, and with repeaters and this radios work with our existing radios. It was a lot of work figuring out the programming but it is doable. They are 10 watt output so the battery goes in 1 12 hour shift if you program them to high power, but they are very clear.
This is my second one. These are great radios and are waterproof which is a great selling point for me. Battery life has been great so far.

Great dual band DMR. Easy to program.
I believe the Ailunce HD1 is an underrated radio. This 10w dual-band, DMR HT is an excellent choice for the new HAM or the seasoned Elmer. I’m of the new variety and chose this unit after researching other contenders because of the build quality, the features, ease of programming, and the performance. If you are looking for a dual-band HT, add the HD1 to the list and buy one radio to meet many needs.
One best ham radios in my arsenal of HT easy program
We've used Motorola mostly, but these radios can be jailbroken for 136-174 and 460-470 MHz to transmit & receive. Output wattage is 7.5 on VHF and 5 on UHF, using a Shurecom meter. These are actually decent weatherproof radios.
Church Security team setup on DMR, So I choose Ailunce HD1 with 10 bundle sales. Works great and is clear, and easy to operate.
