We have bought several walkie talkies over the years from the farm supply in town. These are the best by far. When my husband is planting/working the fields about a mile from home we always had static because of the woods. These are crystal clear and never had a problem. Yesterday I came in the house and the cat went running down to the basement. I quickly saw the reason for his hasty departure. Several items were on the floor and knocked over on the counter. Lucky for him I didn’t want to chase him. When my husband came home he was looking for the other walkie talkie. Could not find it, looked on the floor, garbage; even tried calling it- nothing. I jokingly said maybe it was in the dishwasher, opened it and sure enough, it was on the top shelf and went through 56 minutes of washing. We quickly took the battery out and drained the water from the unit. This morning put the battery in and have been using it all day.

Bought these to have the luxury of instant communication with a friend during a 5 day overlanding trip. It helps so much to have constant connection to a different vehicle. Both in town and out on the trail you can state issues and intentions without fiddling around for a phone. It's especially helpful when you're in a spot without cell connection. I'll be using these everytime I follow someone in a different vehicle or vice versa.

This is great for adults or kids. We have purchased so many crappy walkie talkies for the kids and it didn't occur to use until recently to get them a real pair. These are great. Got it for ours, 9 and 6, and they loved it during the quarantine. Hours of enjoyment. Just bought it for some friends with 7 and 4 year olds and they love it too. Also, if there's a natural disaster and the zombies take over, we have a means of communication.

Got these for my grandkids for Christmas. Super easy to use for little fingers. Good clear transmission for the entire 5 acre homestead. Walkies gave hours of use over several days before needing recharging. Easy to recharge. Durable and rugged, they have already been dropped several times. The kids, ages 7 and 9 love them. I purchased these for work, as I work in sewer lines and wanted an easier method to communicate with our top side guys besides screaming. Pretty good so far as we used them on various site configurations. The VOX mode is great for in the hole as it leaves the technician able to work with both hands and still have the freedom to communicate.

I purchased this for my traffic control business and must say, these are the best of all the radios we have used so far. The sound quality is very clear and covers a long distance. Traffic noise can be loud, but it really isn't discernible on these radios. They are half the price of other radios we have purchased before, but much better. I'm very impressed and will definitely buy more if necessary

We use them to communicate from houseboat to jet ski to Lake Powell beach and have excellent sound and quality over a reasonable distance. I don't know how far, but all the canyons they reached were much further than expected. Works even without sight. We use it for scouting houseboat beach and anchor locations, communicating from top to bottom deck, from houseboat to motorboat when meals are ready, and more. Highly recommended for this purpose.
