these feel good and solid, though they're heavier than other walkies i've used at other jobs, which can be annoying over time. they cover a good amount of ground without any real loss of audio quality & charge pretty quickly. the buttons are easy enough to press without being SO easy that you press them on accident, and everything works as it should. I can't say how long they'll last in dusty situations, but i expect them to live a good while considering their build quality and price point.

The transmit and receive audio quality of this radio is excellent and comparable to similar products. This is a wideband UHF radio that can be programmed anywhere within the standard 400MHz band. The display uses a channel display, unlike FRS radios which directly display frequency or letter labels. It will be ideal for working environments or GMRS applications.

I've tuned RB48 Pro radios to the frequency I wanted and am very happy with it. So far, they've been very durable and of excellent quality. The colors are beautiful, and the detachable cables are great. Their noise cancellation (or, to use the official term) delivers excellent sound quality. Whatever the official name, it works exceptionally well. I wish it could set and display frequencies directly on the radio, but since it's already set, it perfectly meets my needs.

These are very nice little handhelds. We are using in an industrial environment at a recycling center and so far are holding up well. They are durable and recharge quickly. Range and clarity are decent around our 40 acre property. The only times we have communications issues are when a machine operator is on the back side of large stock piles, which is common for any type of walkie talkie that is not connected to a repeater system. They are also easy to spot being bright yellow in color. Great value and functional for inexpensive communication. The only thing I don't like is the antennas are not standard screw on type for easy replacement, which is why I gave 4 stars. Other than that they are great.

I purchased the Pro model knowing the issue with the random frequencies programmed in the radio. I didn't see any listings, at the time of purchase, with a programming cable. I ended up getting a programming cable from purchasing directly from the manufacturer. The four pack came in all separate boxes, one for each radio. I had opened the first, found no programming cable before I ordered the cable. Once the cable came, I was ready to program the radios and when opening the last box, found it had a cable in it. No indication on the package or any markings different, plus I knew the listing and pictures didn't show one. I wish I had opened that box first, would have saved a lot of time. I now have them programmed for the frequencies I need and am very happy with the radios. They seem very rugged and great quality so far. The color is nice and the attachable cord is very nice. They sound great with the noise cancellation, or whatever they official call it. No matter what it is officially called, it works great. I wish you could program from the radio and that it would show the frequency, but it will do what I need now that it is programmed.
