Pretty good little radio. I have lots of handhelds, and this one seems pretty solid. The build quality is great. Fit and finish are definitely good, especially when you consider the price point. It feels rugged and durable in the hand, not like some of the other cheap plastic radios you see online. It's packed with features. You get quad-band transmission, which is really neat. It also has the NOAA weather alert channels, which, let's face it, is a must-have for any emergency radio. I like that it has a decent 2500mAh internal battery and charges via USB-C. The more options to power the unit the better, and using a standard cable is a big plus. Using it is pretty straightforward. There's a bit of a learning curve but nothing too difficult, especially if you've used these types of radios before. It says it's waterproof, and while I wouldn't hesitate to take this on a rafting trip, it definitely looks like it could handle some serious rain. It seems extremely water resistant. The range is as good as most radios in this class. Reception seems on par with similar radios I've used. No complaints there. It also comes with a ton of accessories. You get three different antennas, which for the price is awesome. All and all, this is a good product. It’s a feature-packed unit that does what it's supposed to. Given the solid build, the USB-C charging, and all the extra antennas, I think it's a great value for what it is. If you're in the market for a new handheld, I would buy this again. I recommend.
A ton of features packed into this little guy. Extremely versatile radio. To many functions and features to list. For the affordable price, sound quality and portability, you will not be disappointing. I'm very happy with it.
Very nice HT, 70cm 1.2m, 2m, 10m, 11m (CB), GMRS, and marine frequencies capable with programming, plus HF receiving. Power ranges from 2 watts to almost 8 watts on the 70cm band.
