I love these Retevis radios. They always work great and are reasonably heavy duty. I use them around my property. I can get roughly .5 miles away behind 2 hills and still talk to a handheld at my house. That is great for hills being between us.

The display works good easy read and control.The sound and mic quality is good and clear good for big events or off roading with friends. Range distance is amazing it does have a detachable antenna. Battery has good life and easy to charge I like that it has the option to charge with usb c and not only the cradle dock. The add on mic/speaker is easy to use and also feels like really good quality feels durable super happy with these radios.

This is a solidly built, feature packed radio that performs very well. I won't do a blow by blow narrative on the features because they all work as described by the manufacturer. On the bench the radio met or exceeded all published specifications. I usually pass these "review radios" along to churches or ham groups, etc. However, these were so good that I set them aside and gave them to close family members who spend a lot of time camping and trail riding. They are perfect for these activities given the solid audio, good range and GPS functions. A good radio.

These walkie talkies are the real deal they are made well and durable. I still have to learn at first I thought these were just like your normal walkie talkies but I guess being gmrs you would need some special license to use these. Quick test with two of these they worked out good pretty simple and clear sound, the display is easy to read and many settings to choose from. Good battery life and good weight on the talkie well balances feels good in your hand.

We have 4 of them, and one has even fallen from the top of a lighthouse!

One even tumbled over the railing at the top of a lighthouse on a trip. The battery did not survive, but the radio continued to work perfectly with a new battery put into the unit.

so far the radio itself has been great. Packaging and delivery were both excellent. I've received reports from QSO's checking audio that I sound very good, and I believe the audio quality of the radio to be good.

I'm a small business owner and am also in the process of remodeling my facility. That makes a lot of things going on at once and the need to keep in touch with multiple individuals in and outside of my organization. For awhile, I just used text messaging on my cellphone but eventually realized that a dedicated solution was needed. That's where these devices come in. They're just basic, heavy duty, two way communication devices like you see used on construction sites and thousands of other use cases. They're extremely durable and can handle tough work environments and elements. The audio is crystal clear and there's even effective noise cancelling. Battery life is good, charging is simple and they're easy for people outside of my firm (eg: contractors) to get used to using. A lot of features at a very reasonable price point. Highly recommended!!
