I love these Retevis radios. They always work great and are reasonably heavy duty. I use them around my property. I can get roughly .5 miles away behind 2 hills and still talk to a handheld at my house. That is great for hills being between us.

This set of walkie talkies are built with good top quality you can feel it and the way it functions. The display works good easy read and control.The sound and mic quality is good and clear good for big events or off roading with friends. Range distance is amazing it does have a detachable antenna. Battery has good life and easy to charge I like that it has the option to charge with usb c and not only the cradle dock. The add on mic/speaker is easy to use and also feels like really good quality feels durable super happy with these radios.

This is a solidly built, feature packed radio that performs very well. I won't do a blow by blow narrative on the features because they all work as described by the manufacturer. On the bench the radio met or exceeded all published specifications. I usually pass these "review radios" along to churches or ham groups, etc. However, these were so good that I set them aside and gave them to close family members who spend a lot of time camping and trail riding. They are perfect for these activities given the solid audio, good range and GPS functions. A good radio.

Retevis makes radios that are far superior to even the best FRS radios. These are usb-c rechargeable, so no replacing batteries constantly. The range is also much better, I've been able to get around 2 miles in wooded areas, much further that FRS radios. These do cost more than a set of FRS radios, but they're definitely worth it.

Despite the added functionality, the controls remain surprisingly user-friendly. I was able to teach my wife the basics in just a few minutes. Each radio comes in its own box with almost everything you need: charging station, belt clip, and USB cable. This makes it incredibly convenient to distribute to family members. In fact, I plan on giving these to relatives living nearby so we can stay connected, especially during storms.

I love it! The this is loud. I work around loud machinery, so I needed a louder radio. Ours were not loud enough. I really wish I would’ve went thru retivis. So I could get the free programming cable.

Compared to my older Midland radios, the Retevis are a definite upgrade. The build quality feels much more robust, and the IP67 waterproofing gives me confidence they can handle tough conditions. The display is also a major improvement – bright, clear, and easy to read.

As a licensed ham radio operator, I know the value of reliable communication, especially during emergencies. Here in hurricane-prone Florida, we've experienced firsthand how quickly cell service can disappear. During the storms I put the radios to use by handing out to neighbors when we lost power and cell service was interrupted. We were able to stay in touch until utility servjce was restored. Excellent radios.
