I bough these last minute because we had a a group of 4 trucks going to a lake trip/ trail run.The radios Are ready to use out of the box, just set the radios to the same channel and start using them AFTER you charge them of course. the radios are light study and the shoulder mics have a nice grip. Signal strengths for us was about 1.5 miles. If you need these for a group of cars that will be following each other they will work just fine. Both the speaker on the radio and on the shoulder mic are loud and clear.

Pros: - Rugged, not afraid to get it a bit wet or if it suffers a drop from 8 to 10 feet. - Excellent battery - after conditioning batteries by draining and recharging twice we are getting over 24 hours in standby/light use amazing) - Battery and Encryption compatibility with Ailunce HD1* (if that is of interest to your business). - USB C charge capable batteries are now available (don't need a charging stand to maintain on the road). - At 10W DMR, we were able to hit talk to handset inside a concrete structure, from inside a moving vehicle from just over a mile and a half. This was with with hundreds of other concrete structures obscuring Line of sight. Pretty amazed. Would have probably gotten another half mile or mile if using a roof mount mobile Antenna. - Ease of use - You could easily hand this off to non technical individual and they would be able to operate with no issue.
