The RT97P DMR repeater system extends the communication range of the RT29D handheld radios for large business use, supplying up to 10 miles of talking range (the specific call distance depends on the usage environment). With a 10W digital repeater and IP67 waterproof DMR handhelds, this long range two way radio system keeps farms, construction sites, warehouses, rescue teams, mines, ports, and event crews connected where distance and buildings interrupt direct radio-to-radio calls.

Main Features of RT97P DMR Digital Repeater:

1. Complete Compact Repeater Bundle

The RT97P portable repeater bundle includes a 7.2dBi high gain fiberglass antenna (Retevis MA02) and a 15-meter pure copper low-loss feeder cable, so the repeater and antenna connect directly with no additional accessories - a complete compact UHF repeater kit for rooftop, tower, or vehicle mounting.

2. Customizable Frequency

TX frequency and RX frequency can be customized between UHF or VHF. If you need to customize the repeater, please note the following information when placing the order: RX frequency, TX frequency, Offset (Offset ≥5MHz and ≤12MHz).

3. Easy-to-Read LCD Display

The RT97P repeater has an LCD display that shows TX and RX frequencies, CTCSS/DCS codes, and bandwidth settings at a glance. Up and down keys change channels and CTCSS/DCS tones on site, and the same keys lock or unlock the keypad - no computer needed for field adjustments.

4. Multiple Charging Options

The RT97P runs on DC12-24V power, vehicle power, or a solar battery. Keep it at a fixed site, or power it from a vehicle outlet on a self-driving tour: in mobile base station mode it coordinates every vehicle in the convoy on one channel, which is how road-trip groups and event crews keep all cars reachable.

The RT29D operates in digital and analog mode, so your team can talk across DMR and analog fleets without replacing existing radios. Digital mode supports private call, group call, and all call - the three call types business teams use most.

2. IP67 Waterproof

The IP67 waterproof rating allows use in wet environments: the radio works normally after 30 minutes in one meter of water. For car washes, wastewater plants, marinas, and storm-season job sites, that rating decides whether a radio survives the shift.

3. Long Battery Life

A 3200mAh large-capacity battery supports about 14 hours of workplace operation between charges, with long standby time that covers a full shift without frequent charging.

4. Digital Encryption

In digital mode, encryption keeps communication private. It is preset through the programming software, and the RT29D supports 10-bit key and 32-bit digital encryption - configured before the radios reach the field.

5. Dual-Time Slot

Dual time slot technology carries two group calls at the same time without interference, improving frequency efficiency in busy communication areas. Connected through the RT97P repeater, each call also covers twice the distance of direct radio-to-radio contact.

6. Convenient Charging

Each RT29 two way radio includes a desktop charger, and this kit adds a six-way charger: charge a single radio or battery at a time, or six at once, so every radio starts the shift fully charged.
