I love these Retevis radios. They always work great and are reasonably heavy duty. I use them around my property. I can get roughly .5 miles away behind 2 hills and still talk to a handheld at my house. That is great for hills being between us.

The display works good easy read and control.The sound and mic quality is good and clear good for big events or off roading with friends. Range distance is amazing it does have a detachable antenna. Battery has good life and easy to charge I like that it has the option to charge with usb c and not only the cradle dock. The add on mic/speaker is easy to use and also feels like really good quality feels durable super happy with these radios.

This is a solidly built, feature packed radio that performs very well. I won't do a blow by blow narrative on the features because they all work as described by the manufacturer. On the bench the radio met or exceeded all published specifications. I usually pass these "review radios" along to churches or ham groups, etc. However, these were so good that I set them aside and gave them to close family members who spend a lot of time camping and trail riding. They are perfect for these activities given the solid audio, good range and GPS functions. A good radio.

these feel like they are solidly constructed and durable. In testing the range we went through several interior and exterior building walls with no loss in sound quality. We have not found the range limitation yet but will continue testing this.

I am still learning dmr radios, and I own a pair of longer range "2-way" radios. These are a mix of both, will MUCH COOLER functions.I have been getting used to/testing just 3 of them, and very impressed. The all come with pre-programmed channels, but have a cord, to be able to do the "programming stuff/way above my level of patience and expertise". However, the built in menus allow you to do things that I have NEVER experienced in normal 2-way radios.

Quick test with two of these they worked out good pretty simple and clear sound, the display is easy to read and many settings to choose from. Good battery life and good weight on the talkie well balances feels good in your hand.
