Still learning the manual. Sound quality is very good. Instruction manual was easy to understand and also found some info on YouTube. Includes belt clip. Includes programming cable.

I received this radio and had problems from the start. The charger didn’t work right out of the box. Then after getting a charger that worked, the battery began to malfunction. The battery power indicator was fluctuating, going from 0% to 85% back down to 20%. I was contacted by Retevis and given a new battery. The problem is now gone. My radio works great. The life of the battery is incredibly long.

Radio has a good feel to it

New radio looks and works as it should .. The battery is also 馃憤 very good. Measurement of the battery level is very real because it shows in real time and it is reliable and original rather this way. I must say that this radio should cover commercial and private, open mode, market, such as for amateurs learning.

Nice radio. My friend looked it over. Seems you need a ham radio license to operate it. So, in the process of getting one. Overall its good radio, and holds a charge a long time. Great value for your money.

I have several HAM radios and I always keep going to this one as my main radio. I've had this one for about 2 years now. It's such a flexible communications tool and so well built. It'll do both analog and digital (with encryption too) frequencies and can even send txt messages between users on digital setups. Highly recommended!

Great radio for the price. Use it for commercial but has a lot of nice features that HAM operators would enjoy.

Good radio for the price

You can program the entire radio from the front panel without the need for a computer which is a very nice feature. Their customer service department is excellent. I had a minor issue with the radio getting hot when using high power, I contacted customer service and they responded in less than 24 hours with instructions on how to resolve the issue, that being said I would recommend this radio to anyone who has an amateur radio license and is looking for a handheld DMR radio

Of the many dual-band DMR HTs on the market, I own at least one of each. Hands down the HD-1 is the absolute best of all of them. It is solidly built and is about the same size as my /\/\ XPR7550 but has far more channels and private contacts usable.

One of the best armature radios I have ever purchased!! Had baofengs for a few years but now that I found this I’ll never look back!!

Sensitivity as good as any commercial radio I've had. (a lot!) I use analog frequencies (not ham) so I can't evaluate digital.

I had some issues with the programming software on an earlier retevis product and they assured me that the issues had been resolved after I returned the product. The company contacted me to try the new Ailunce HD1 and after ordering I have been very pleased with the product. They seem to be constantly updating the software and firmware on their products, which I understand from their blog and my experience with the HD1.

Just came in yesterday. So far love it. Great reports. I only have a few channels programed so far. Feels good in my hand.

So far all is good with the HD1. I have been using the radio for a month and a half now, and really enjoy it. Customer service is excellent, as they were very quick to respond to my inquiries. The programming software is ok, no real issues. I was able to create a codeplug, upload the entire dmr ID database, and create a power on message and load them into the radio. Audio reports are good on both analog, and digital. Checked analog power output with swr/power meter, all readings are within spec. It does lack some of the extra features found on other radios, but not a problem for me, as I only use it for amateur radio enjoyment

Currently my company was paying $1500 for Motorola radios and these replaced them. We use digital, analog, and with repeaters and this radios work with our existing radios. It was a lot of work figuring out the programming but it is doable. They are 10 watt output so the battery goes in 1 12 hour shift if you program them to high power, but they are very clear.

Great radio easy to set up with the software. I will recommend this to anyone wanting a DMR radio. The radio is very well made and doesn’t feel like a toy. Update: It's been over a week since I received this radio and it works great. Very easy to program from the front keypad. You can find several videos on youtube that gives you plenty of help along with the expert customer service of the seller and manufacturer. Since I live in an apartment I can't use an outside antenna, however, It has no problem hitting analog repeaters 13 miles away. Since at this time there are now DMR repeaters in my area I use a Jumbospot for DMR, which makes it able to talk worldwide on just 1 watt!

Let me preface this initial review by saying I have owned the HD1 for only a few weeks, but I feel I have learned enough about it to give an honest opinion. I must also note that Retevis Customer Service (Angela) has been second to none since my purchase. I did have some issues with the software, but her assistance, along with some trial and error attempts, and watching a number of YouTube videos re front panel and software programming, have now allowed full enjoyment of the transceiver to this point.

Right out of the box, the build quality of the HD1 will immediately impress you. I have been using Motorola radios for forty years and have been waiting for a Ham friendly high build quality non Motorola radio for many years. It has finally arrived. The sound quality at high volume won’t disappoint you. Battery life has been extraordinary. Although, so far, my use has been mostly receive only, the battery goes for days before needing a charge. The backlight has an ‘always on’ setting that has very little impact on battery drain from my experience.

Easily programmable water proof decent size not too big or to small it's close in size to an actual motorala radio was able to get it connected to my laptop running Windows 10 and it's easily programmed from the front panel

Nicest *looking* radio I've had. Looks are important. Very good build quality... the overall feel and heft is equivalent to the Motorolas I've had over the decades. Loud as hell audio-finally!

I purchased this for my husband. He loves it. He has experience with Ham radios and really likes this one. I cant pry him away from it to go to the movies with me. I did purchase a hand thingy to go with it but it didnt work. (send and receive). I contacted the seller and got prompt response from them and they are sending another one. I really like how they responded quickly! I will update if I need about anything.

Mine did a 6m drop into a shallow pool of water during a work session in a reservoir l, after the speaker dried it was as if it never happened. So robust!
