Bought these to use in an elementary school. They work great and have great range. Can hear and talk from anywhere in the building.
For a low cost radio, these do the job. I work in a landscape/masonry supply yard which is very dirty, and dusty, and we have gone through radios left and right. Our owner wont buy us new ones, because the ones he did buy technically work, but they are a nightmare, so we pool up our money to buy some that we can actually use. We even went with some high end dewalt brand radios, and the dust/mud/rain just eats them up. These things have stood the test of time far better than any others we have tried.
