A great radio that I highly recommend, but where is the "Shoulder speaker-mic" for this unit?? I have had these units for over 2 years now, and still no Shoulder mic for this radio. I have talked to the support people many times and they keep trying to sell me the funky ear piece that I already have that came with the radio. I need the speaker mic for my guys using the radios. A really good radio, like I said, an almost perfect unit. Thanks Retevis!
These are great on the family farm, we want to use them as intercoms and if on the same channel they would be really good for that. The coverage of the radio was excellent and I had no problem hearing my wife and kids walking across the farm. The controls are very simple and our kids were able to use these without any problem and the controls are laid out very simply. The sound quality is really good. Very crisp and loud. It ended up taking a long time to charge, I guess it depends on usage, with normal use we get pretty good battery life. We were able to get between 3 days and a week of normal use with normal calls, but if the number of calls increased I'm sure the time would decrease, but the battery life was still great for us. Super simple volume knob and channel knob, everything you need to use your intercom, get into the same channel, adjust the volume as needed, and talk to each other on the same channel. These are IP67 waterproof which is a really nice addition and feature, my son has had water accidentally spilled on him and it still works fine. If you are like me and want some walkie talkies for farm use these are great and so easy to use and we are all very happy with them.
