The RT43 has been a solid performer for my brothers church where they are used for parking, security, and special events. 12 units in use a ltte over 2yrs and zero issues.
I recommended the RT43 as a solid all-around choice for a reliable & easy to use radio with good coverage for a friends church security detail. That was just over a year ago and all radios are still going strong! I handled the initial programming/setup and the church members have found the radios very easy to use and work well no matter if inside the building for security, outside for an event and/or parking, or communicating from across the property with someone inside the building. The RT43 is an easy to grab and use radio for people who are not technical and do not wish or need to edit menu settings...just turn it on and select the channel for your assigned detail for the day. The initial purchase of 12 radios with chargers, cables, and earpieces was affordable and shipped quickly. I'll add that there was one small snafu with shipping but Retevis customer service quickly corrected the error. I would confidently recommend this radio again to anyone in need of a radio for a similar situation.
