great radios, i have gone though many different sets of baofengs and retevis and this one takes the money. Very powerful and clear sounding on a 5 acre business with multiple buildings. my only complaint is that its a little quiet when someones speaking but not too bad.

I use these walkie-talkies in a residential school environment. They are working much better than other, less powerful, ones we have been using. They have a “work time” of 14-hours and standby time of 46-hours. I like that they are waterproof, as we will have to use them outside on rainy days. Simple plastic charging station.

I bought these to add to my GMRS equipment. Programming is simple enough with software available from Retevis website. Be aware that you should check the frequencies before you transmit. Mine arrived with 70cm Ham channels. Not a problem if you are licensed but could lead to trouble if you are not.

I recently purchased a 6 pack of these for work. The good..solid radios, good sound. They seem durable and well made.

I have probably 50+ handheld radios of all types. Most are between $20-$150. This set of radios I’d say has the clearest audio of any I have ever used. They talk much farther than any other handhelds as well until you start getting into legitimate “dual band” radios with bigger antennas. For a standard handheld, these are by far the best. Very clear audio, crisp breaking squelch, very durable, etc. Fantastic reception. Great battery life. And came with one giant 6 radio charger. Great for businesses or smaller groups of people. Camping, you would be able to talk multiple campgrounds away easily.

Used it on hiking trips to communicate with different groups. No more than a mile away. The connection was good and audio is clear. I haven't tested them further out. In the city it worked well for at least 2.5 miles out. I accidently dropped it in a river and after I put it out to dry, it still worked perfectly!

I love these walkie talkies. Using them in the city for my mom and my daughter. Her house is about 1-2 miles away and they work! Only thing I do not like is you can’t talk to one another if they are on the charger/base, kinda silly to me.

These are pretty good radios for the price. Rugged and durable. I purchased 2 in uhf and 2 in vhf and they do not disappoint. I’ve programmed them to work with higher end radios and used them for camping and get the same range.

Well this radio it's almost perfect for my needs. Good range, good sound quality, battery life is great. Rugged. The biggest downfall for me is the knobs for booth volume and channel turn very easily, thus making paranoid and checking the radio to check if I am on the right channel and full volume, because you know when you work over a live rail track and you have to GTFO once the flagger calls you on the radio, it's kind important. In the end I just electrical tape the knobs on place.
