Description

RT29 Long Distance Waterproof Two-Way Radio — Built for Tough Construction Environments

UHF high-power radio for construction crews that pushes through steel, concrete and weather. Reaches up to 8 km line-of-sight - 15 km with a repeater - so crews stay linked across floors, trailers and dead zones where phones quit. The IP67 aluminum body shrugs off rain, mud and 2-meter drops, a 3200mAh battery runs the full shift, and the six-way charger, one-touch emergency alarm, VOX hands-free and programmable channels with CTCSS/DCS privacy keep every worker connected, clear and safe.

IP67 Waterproof & Drop-Resistant Rugged Build

Built with a sealed IP67 housing and a rugged aluminum alloy body, the RT29 shrugs off rain, mud, concrete dust and daily jobsite impacts, and withstands drops from up to 2 meters - keeping the radio in service through washdowns, scaffolding work and bad-weather shifts.

3200mAh All-Shift Battery with 6-Way Charger

Built with a 3200mAh rechargeable battery delivering about 24 hours of active use and up to 250 hours of standby, the RT29 charges overnight and runs the full workday, while the optional 6-unit multi-charger tops up an entire crew in a single pass.

High-Power UHF with Up to 8 km Range

Adjust transmit power to match different range requirements, with high-power output of more than 5W reaching up to 8 km line-of-sight and up to 15 km with a repeater - while UHF penetrates concrete, steel framing and multi-story floors where VHF struggles.

One-Touch Emergency Alarm & Privacy Codes

Activate the emergency alarm directly from a programmable side key to send an SOS to the whole channel in an instant, while CTCSS/DCS codes and per-channel scrambling keep your crew's traffic private and free of crossover from neighboring contractors on the same frequency.

Hands-Free VOX & Clear Audio in Jobsite Noise

Instantly communicate with hands busy on a ladder, rebar or hoist thanks to adjustable VOX voice control, and pair the radio with a sealed IP67 speaker mic for louder crew-wide calls, with a 3-in-1 SP/MIC/Program jack supporting external mic, headset and programming cable.

Programmable Multi-Crew Channel Management

Program 16 channels with per-channel scan settings and 0-9 squelch levels to isolate your crew from background noise, add BCLO to block busy-channel collisions and TOT to stop one stuck PTT key from occupying the channel - with FCC, CE and IC approvals for compliant procurement.
