No for repeater service. Because of FCC limits on FRS, the RT97L works only with GMRS radios, both handheld and mobile models. FRS radios may hear GMRS traffic on shared simplex frequencies, but the repeater itself accepts GMRS units.
Yes. A USB programming cable is included, and the software lets you set channels and CTCSS/DCS tones. When the software asks for a password on read, close the prompt or enter 288288; you can set your own password from the write screen.
Dual daisy chain requires factory-installed hardware, including a custom repeater and duplexer. It must be purchased as a pre-configured pair and cannot be set up manually from separate standard units.
