The Retevis RT97L and RA87 bundle serves farms, ranches, and rural properties that need wide-area GMRS coverage. An RA87 40W mobile radio transmits to the RT97L 25W repeater, and the repeater retransmits to handhelds and other mobiles across the property. The kit ships with the repeater, mobile radios, a coaxial extender cable, a base station antenna, and mobile radio antennas.

1. The 40W RA87 mobile radios feed the base station RT97L for long-range communication. The RA87 40W GMRS mobile radio is the workhorse of this bundle. It mounts in vehicles or site buildings, transmits the signal, and pairs with its own mobile antenna in every kit option. The repeater receives it and retransmits to another mobile radio, extending the mobile radio range with this waterproof GMRS repeater.

2. This bundle includes high-power GMRS mobile radios, one GMRS repeater, a coaxial extender cable, a base station antenna, and mobile radio antennas, giving you a complete core setup for a repeater site.

3. This bundle delivers steady communication across large properties such as farms and ranches, and it supports daily coordination and emergency calls. One purchase covers the repeater core and the mobile fleet for farms, ranches, and other large sites.

4. This version of the RT97L has an updated case and a DB-9 female connector for an external controller. You can add the repeater to the myGMRS network with a linking bundle or an all-in-one plug-and-play kit (coming soon).

5. With 16 GMRS repeater channels, a built-in notch duplexer, and full 25W of output power after the duplexer, you only add an antenna and a feeder cable to get on the air.

6. Built into a cable TV amplifier box, the RT97L is rugged and rated IP66. Two power adapters come with the repeater: a 12V/24V cigarette lighter plug and an AC adapter. A USB programming cable is also included, so you can set channels and CTCSS/DCS tones of your choice.

7. The RT97L fits solar-powered repeater sites where low power draw and a small footprint matter, and the portable size works for camping trips and emergency preparedness kits.

8. Inside the case, there is a 25W notch duplexer, an LCD, a DC-DC power adapter, and the integrated radio module. This repeater is a purpose-built unit, not two handheld radios in a box.
