RT97P Customizable Full Duplex Mini DMR Portable Repeater with RT81 DMR Radio

The RT97P repeater fits solar-powered repeater sites where low power draw and a small footprint matter. At its portable size, it serves farming, camping trips, and emergency preparedness. This kit pairs the repeater with RT81 DMR handheld radios and an FRP antenna, so the complete DMR chain arrives in one box.

Customizable Frequency

TX and RX frequencies can be customized within UHF (400-470 MHz) or VHF (136-174 MHz). To customize the repeater, note the following details when placing your order: RX frequency, TX frequency, offset (5 MHz or more, up to 12 MHz), and charger type. Factory-tuned duplexers keep the pair within this offset window.

Mini and Portable Size

The package measures 310×283×170 mm and weighs less than 3 kg, so the repeater travels light and deploys outdoors wherever coverage is needed.

Car Charger

Built into a cable TV amplifier box, the RT97P stays rugged and water-resistant. Two power adapters ship with the repeater: a 12V/24V cigarette-lighter plug and an AC wall adapter.

Multi Charging Methods

The RT97P runs on DC 12-24V power, car power, or solar battery input, so off-grid and vehicle-based deployments are both supported.

Dual Mode

Both digital and analog modes work on the RT97P. It expands the communication range of DMR radios such as the RT81 and of analog fleets, so mixed fleets upgrade without a full replacement.

The RT81 handhelds in this kit are 10W UHF DMR radios with dual time slots and IP67 waterproof bodies, and they share the repeater's customizable UHF frequencies. The FRP antenna is a fiberglass high-gain antenna that feeds the repeater's SO-239-style connector and stands up to outdoor weather. Exact antenna gain and RT81 pack accessories follow the shipped configuration.
