Retevis RT97S Repeater with RT86S GMRS Walkie Talkie Kit

Designed for business teams to communicate over long distances and to ensure communications reliability, especially in situations where traditional networks may be disrupted, the GMRS has a superior range to FRS and by using the Retevis RT97S GMRS Repeater, the range of the RT86S GMRS handheld radio can be significantly increased. This kit is therefore ideal when an extended communications coverage area is required.

RT97S GMRS Repeater Key Features:

The RT97S repeater in this kit is equipped with a microphone. It can be used to talk directly to walkie-talkies or car radios. This kit comes with 6 RT86S GMRS long range radios to increase the number of users and enable teamwork.

1. Simple-to-use GMRS repeater Kit
With 8 GMRS repeater channels and a built-in duplexer, all you need to do is add an antenna and feeder cable - both included in the default bundle - and you are ready to broadcast. A USB programming cable is also included, so the repeater can be programmed to the channels and CTCSS/DCS tones of your choice.

2. Small Portable Repeater
The Retevis RT97S repeater measures only 260 x 210 x 70 mm, which is compact and easy to carry, making it perfect for outdoor use by families, individuals, and groups. You can also install it on top of a mountain to build your own long-distance base station.

3. Multiple Charging Options
The RT97S can be powered by a DC 12-24V power supply, vehicle power, or solar power. It is well suited to solar repeater sites that require low power consumption and a small footprint. The portable size also makes it ideal for camping trips and emergency preparedness.

The walkie-talkie with Type-c charging is equipped with a 2600mAh lithium-ion battery. It provides up to 15 hours of use time and 117 hours of standby time. While meeting the needs of long-term work, it can achieve faster and simpler charging.

Convenient Communication

The RT86S can switch to the RT86 frequency through the PTT key and side key 1, which makes communication with existing RT86 radios convenient. If your team already runs RT86 radios, upgrading to the RT86S is quick and seamless.

When the user is working on channel 1/3/5 or other channels, long press the GRP key to quickly realize the group call on channel 6. Channel 6 is the default group call channel. Long press the GRP key, no matter which channel you are currently on, the walkie-talkies in the same team can quickly talk to each other, improving work efficiency.
